Philosophy

Day Early Learning’s Theory of Teaching and Learning believes every child is competent & capable, learns through relationships with adults and peers, constructs knowledge from diverse experiences, learns and develops at a unique and individual pace, and is constantly learning. As a result of these core beliefs, we are committed to ensuring every child has access to the educational resources they need to thrive.

About our program

IU Health Day Early Learning Center is located just north of the IU Health Methodist Hospital on 21st and Senate. Our location is convenient for hospital employees, university students, as well as those who work downtown.

At IU Health Day Early Learning, your child will learn and grow in a safe environment. As one of the largest Day Early Learning centers, we have 12 spacious classrooms, an indoor gross motor area and two outdoor playgrounds, including a butterfly garden. Classrooms are designed to provide a fun learning environment and are outfitted with developmentally appropriate learning materials to allow your child to explore and learn.
