Our Teachers

Our teaching team brings a strong foundation of experience and dedication to early childhood education. I served for five years as an Instructional Assistant at Willow Lake Elementary School before becoming a Montessori Lead Teacher at a Montessori preschool, where I deepened my practice in child-led, hands-on learning. Education is both my profession and my passion. My daughters, who are also educators, work alongside me, creating a supportive, family-centered team with shared values and a commitment to nurturing each child’s independence, confidence, and love of learning.

Philosophy

At Fountain of Light Montessori-Inspired Home School, we believe every child is naturally curious, capable, and eager to learn. Rooted in authentic Montessori principles, our philosophy honors the whole child nurturing independence, confidence, and respect within a carefully prepared environment. We embrace hands-on learning, freedom within limits, and mixed-age community to support each child’s individual pace of development. By fostering concentration, practical life skills, and meaningful exploration, we guide children to become thoughtful, self-motivated learners who shine both inside and outside the classroom.

Location

Our program is in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood in Indianapolis. With a safe, fenced backyard and a familiar, welcoming community, children can play, learn, and grow in a secure, nurturing Montessori-inspired environment.
