Philosophy

Day Early Learning’s Theory of Teaching and Learning believes every child is competent & capable, learns through relationships with adults and peers, constructs knowledge from diverse experiences, learns and develops at a unique and individual pace, and is constantly learning. As a result of these core beliefs, we are committed to ensuring every child has access to the educational resources they need to thrive.

About our program

Day Early Learning at Fort Harrison provides high-quality early care and education for infants to pre-K on the far east side of Indianapolis. Located just outside of the Major General Emmett J. Bean Federal Center in the heart of Fort Benjamin Harrison, our center works with many military families, Defense Finance and Accounting Services_ (_DFAS) employees and families within the Lawrence community. Federal employees receive priority placement and a weekly discount at this center because of our partnership.

At Day Early Learning at Fort Harrison, your child will learn and grow in a safe environment. This center has seven spacious classrooms and two outdoor playgrounds. Classrooms are designed to provide a fun learning environment and are outfitted with developmentally appropriate learning materials to allow your child to explore and learn.
