Our Teachers

Our teachers are warm, nurturing, and deeply committed to providing the very best care. Each staff member completes a minimum of 30 hours of professional training every year, and all are certified in First Aid and CPR. Our team strives for excellence and takes pride in supporting every child’s growth. We also have Spanish-speaking teachers to better connect with and support our families.

Philosophy

Our program is intentionally designed to be developmentally appropriate, meeting each child where they are and helping them grow at their own pace. Learning is rooted in play and hands-on exploration, allowing children to discover, create, problem-solve, and make meaningful connections to the world around them. A strong emphasis is placed on social-emotional development and self-regulation, helping children learn to express their feelings, build positive relationships, and gain confidence in themselves as capable learners and caring friends.

Location

We are located on the south west side of Marion county, near the Kentucky Avenue/State Rd 67 exit. Easy access to 465. We are right next to Stephen Decatur Elementary school. Each age group has their own classroom, we have fully enclosed playgrounds.

About our program

At A Child’s World, we provide a safe, secure, and caring environment where children feel loved and supported every day. As the newest location of a trusted, well-established program, A Child’s World South brings high-quality early care and education to the southwest side of Marion County. Our approach emphasizes strong social-emotional development, helping children build confidence, independence, and positive relationships, while also supporting growth in all areas of learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences.
