Our Teachers

Hi there! My name is Sarah Brown and I have been working in childcare for over 20 years now. I started my journey in childcare by running an in-home family child care program. Over the years, I gained more experience and eventually expanded my services to include a larger center. Recently, we celebrated our 15-year anniversary at the center. It has been an amazing journey filled with many rewarding moments. One of my proudest achievements is earning my Child Development Associate (CDA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. These credentials have helped me to better understand the needs of children and to provide high-quality care and education to them. In addition to running my own childcare program, I also enjoy helping other providers improve their spaces to provide higher quality care. It brings me great joy to see other childcare providers succeed in providing excellent care to children in their communities. Overall, my 20 years of experience in childcare has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Philosophy

As an early childhood educator, my childcare philosophy centers around providing a play-based and nature-based program for our students. I strongly believe that children learn best through play, and it is my goal to create an environment where they can explore, discover, and create while also being immersed in nature. In our program, we prioritize early learning and make sure that our students are stimulated in their learning. We strive to create an atmosphere that is both engaging and enjoyable for our young learners, so that they look forward to coming to our childcare center every day. Through play, children develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills, and we aim to foster those skills in our students. We encourage them to express themselves freely, collaborate with their peers, and learn from their experiences. We also incorporate nature into our program, as we believe that being outside and exploring the natural world is vital for a child’s development. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. We believe that early childhood is a critical time for learning, and we are dedicated to supporting our students in their journey.

Location

We have three locations available, and I’m here to help you determine which one would be the best fit for your family. Please feel free to reach out to me, and we can discuss your family’s needs and preferences to find the perfect location for you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

About our program

Hello there! My name is Sarah Brown, and I am the proud owner of Little Dreamers Childcare. At Little Dreamers, we specialize in providing children with an enriching and stimulating environment that fosters their natural curiosity and love for learning. One of the ways we achieve this is through our focus on visual learning and exploration-based learning. Our approach to education is designed to encourage children to use all of their senses to explore and learn about the world around them. We believe that by engaging in hands-on experiences, children can develop critical thinking skills and a love for learning that will stay with them for life. In addition to our nature-based and play-based learning, we also have an indoor therapy sensory gym. This gym is equipped with various sensory tools and equipment that help children develop their motor skills, balance, coordination, and sensory integration. At Little Dreamers, we are dedicated to celebrating our students’ achievements and milestones. Every year in April, we host a spring formal for all three of our locations. This is a chance for our students and their families to come together and celebrate the progress they’ve made throughout the year. In May, we also host a graduation ceremony for our students who are moving on to kindergarten. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with our students and their families as they prepare to enter the next phase of their academic journey. Finally, we also host a fun day each year. This is a day where we take our learning outdoors and enjoy activities like BBQs, carnivals, and other fun outdoor activities. We believe that by providing children with a fun and stimulating environment, they will be more motivated to learn and grow. With over 20+ years of experience providing childcare services, we are proud to be partnered with On My Way Pre-K to help prepare children for their transition into kindergarten. We currently have three locations, and we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for considering Little Dreamers Childcare for your child’s early childhood education needs. We look forward to helping your child reach their full potential!
