Our Teachers

As the supervisor I have been with Brightpoint for 22+ years, 13 of those years were in a classroom. Here at the Temple we have seasoned teachers and teachers who are just beginning their journey into teaching. Each teacher has a minimum of an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.

Philosophy

We believe children construct knowledge (learn) through a wide variety of rich, meaningful experiences with adults, peers (other children) and materials.   We believe parents are the first and primary teachers of their children. Therefore, parent engagement is vital in every aspect of our efforts to enrich each child’s life. We believe each child and family is unique. By serving the whole family, we are enriching the child’s life as well as developing a positive self-image for the family as a whole.

Location

We are tucked away in a great subdivision, with plenty of outdoor space to explore. The river green way is also right behind us, providing us many opportunities to explore the trails.

About our program

Brightpoint Head Strat collaborates with families and community partners to achieve positive outcomes for children and families beyond Head Start. A major goal of the Head Start Program is to bring about a greater degree of social competence in children.
