About our program
Dean & Barbara White Southlake YMCA Early Learning Academy offers a competitive preschool/prek program that is highly recommended by alumni families, kindergarten teachers, and community members across Lake County. Classes are taught by highly qualified degreed/licensed teachers to help your child reach their full potential academically and socially. We offer an academic curriculum that exceeds Indiana Early Learning Foundation standards and is designed to prepare your child for their entrance into kindergarten. Our preschool program provides the tools and activities for students to discover, learn and grow through song, dance, 1:1 and small group instruction, while promoting our four core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Our preschool is unique because we offer gym and swimming each week in our program.
