My name is Angie the founder and director of Little Red Roost. I have a an Associates Degree from TVCC, and currently working towards a Bachelor’s in Teaching at Lewis & Clarke. I have been caring for young children for 10 years through working at a few public schools before staring my venture as a center director. I am a parent of 3 kids. I am passionate about early education and truly love having an impact on the earliest stage of children’s academic lives. I am excited to meet you and provide your children with the highest quality care and education.
Philosophy
At Little Red Roost, we follow the Montessori-Inspired curriculum philosophy, which means we are a play-based and child led program, with an emphasis on social-emotional development and communication. We believe in giving children a safe place to explore with freedom of choice, fostering independence and creativity while providing children with a sense of self and belonging. We are passionate about designing an environment that supports early developmental stages by giving plenty of opportunities to play and learn.
Location
Little Red Roost is located in a commercial building that previously was a residential home on N. Whitley Drive. We are accessible via car, and school buses through the Fruitland School District & TVCA have access for pick up/drop off.
About our program
At Little Red Roost, we have small classroom sizes. Our teachers are properly trained with college education. We are with Steps of Quality & Idaho Stars (I am a level 3 and working towards the highest level each year).
We accept ICCP. Our tuition varies based on your needs, so please inquire to learn more about our rates. We are also apart of the USDA Food Program and serve nutritious meals and snacks daily.
