Ms. Marceda – Lead Educator & Child Advocate

Marceda has been working with children since she was a child herself. She has experience with kids ages 3 to 21, including those with various disabilities and special needs. Whether a child is nonverbal, has irregular behavior, or mobility challenges—they often connect with her when they won’t with anyone else.

Her natural ability to build trust, combined with extensive training in child safety, health, and development, makes her a powerful presence in the classroom. Marceda’s passion for people and playful spirit ensures every child feels seen, supported, and ready for their next stage in life.

Philosophy

We believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. Every activity is designed to be engaging, interactive, and meaningful, encouraging exploration and real-world learning.

At the heart of our philosophy is patience and clarity. We take the time to ensure each child not only hears—but truly understands—what is being shared. Our director fosters open, respectful communication, creating an environment where children feel heard and empowered to express themselves.

Above all, we are committed to creating a safe, trusting space where children feel supported, valued, and deeply cared for. In our program, every child is treated with kindness, respect, and a belief in their unique potential.

About our program

We are a creative, nature-inspired program led by caring and passionate staff who prioritize each child’s growth and joy. Our days are filled with outdoor exploration, music, art, and water play/swim activities, offering a rich, hands-on learning experience.

We serve age-integrated groups, encouraging collaboration and leadership across age levels. Families are a big part of our community—we host celebrations and performances throughout the year to bring everyone together.

To balance active learning, we offer wind-down days like movie and theatre sessions, giving kids space to relax and recharge. Our program is a place where creativity, connection, and fun thrive every day.
