Our Teachers
Jonette Lewis, Director/teacher graduated from FSCJ in 2014 with an AS degree in childcare management. In 2017 I opened my home childcare after working I centers for over 30 years. I have developed a close bond with all my families and is known as “Granny”. Since becoming a Large home my daughter Jasmine Lewis joined me as teacher. She has a CDA and over 15 years experience in childcare. We take pride in helping the growth and development of our children.
Philosophy
I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. It is my desire as a educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
Location
We are located in the New Town neighborhood of downtown Jacksonville in a single family home. We have middle schools and elementary school s nearby. Public transportation is a few blocks away as well as parks and convenient stores. This a a great location that is safe and secure for children and families.
