Our Teachers
Esther has been caring for children for 30+ years. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education at Adams State College. She has worked in a variety of capacities with young children- in schools as a teacher, a counselor, and an administrator, and now in her home and her community of South Fork.
Esther is passionate about Early Childhood, and caring for young children. She is patient and knowledgeable about children and their needs, and has experience working with children with all kinds of abilities and needs.
Philosophy
At Esther’s school, children are encouraged to create, explore, and work together. Esther believes that children learn best through play, and play they do!
Esther’s home is a perfect landscape for young explorers. Perched on a wide expanse of land, children are able to run and play outside, and help care for the goats and the chickens! Esther offers learning opportunities to help prepare children for Kindergarten, and ample time for children to lead the way through their own play.
Location
Esther’s School is located in South Fork. Her school is on a large expanse of land, with ample access to the great outdoors. Children are encouraged to spend time outdoors each day.

At Little Cubs in South Fork, each child receives personalized care in a warm setting that fosters growth. Every Little Cub in Esther’s Care is encouraged to explore their interests, grow their independence, and explore the world around them.
