Hello! I am Rita Sepulveda, the founder of Scribbles Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 28 years of experience working with young children. I have lived in the downtown area all of my life.
I am a mother of two daughters. When my oldest was born I already had established a childcare program in my home so she was able to socialize with other children and learn to make friends her age or older and younger. She was very excited to have wonderful friends to play with on a daily basis. We keep in touch with some of her daycare friends to this day who are now all grown up.
I love working with young children. Each child will have my full attention and loving care. My goal is to teach each child at their own pace. I believe that early education is so important because it is at an early age that babies and toddlers begin to absorb everything around them. Reading and music, art, or playing with blocks and other open-ended materials all help to encourage curiosity and exploration. At Scribbles Wonderschool we do educational field trips which include trips to the library, the zoo, and many of Denver’s parks & museums. We love having outdoor adventures and children in my program have outdoor time daily.

Philosophy
Scribbles Wonderschool provides high quality in-home infant and toddler care just blocks from downtown Denver, Colorado. At Scribbles Wonderschool, we aim to create a home-away-from-home for all the children we work with. Our program is designed for infants. We provide developmentally appropriate toys and a conscientiously designed environment so that children at the youngest stage of life can safely learn and explore the world around them.
Location
Scribbles Wonderschool is located in a cozy, charming single family home just blocks from Downtown Denver.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts), and sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses).
Children will spend most of the day outdoors in a mix of both the private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themself, their community and the world.
At Scribbles Wonderschool, we aim to provide a loving home away from home.
