Our Teachers
Em Friedman, teacher and facilitator, graduated from Pitzer College in 2014 with a bachelor’s in psychology. She has worked as a nanny and preschool teacher, but has been focusing on parenting over the last 12 months. We are excited to start hosting other young learners to explore, paint, read, and play together.
Philosophy
Our program is Reggio inspired, mixed-age, play-based program that provides developmentally appropriate activities to each child founded in the belief that all children are capable of being active participants in their learning. Our program emphasizes small group sizes to ensure that each child is receiving the care that they need. Providing an emotionally and physically safe environment with stimulating materials will empower students to explore and increase their capacity for learning.
Location
Our neighborhood is beautiful and calm. We are nearby Ponderosa Elementary School and Utah Park. We recently bought our home, a lovely ranch with many spaces for nature exploration, mess making, reading, and playing.
