Joshua Moussa, Owner
Joshua Moussa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, in 2020. Despite the challenges of entering the workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic, he gained valuable experience in a corporate role at Johnson & Johnson, where he developed practical business acumen and technical expertise.
In 2023, driven by his passion for education and child development, Joshua transitioned to teaching with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). This role has been deeply fulfilling, offering him firsthand insight into the need for individualized support that traditional classroom settings often cannot provide.
By establishing his own child care program, Joshua seeks to create a more personalized environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. His approach reflects his unique ability to balance his playful, kid-at-heart nature with a strong commitment to fostering emotional intelligence and foundational skills that prepare children for lifelong success.
Philosophy
At our child care program, we believe in fostering a joyful and supportive environment through positive reinforcement, play-based learning, and individualized attention. We celebrate every child’s achievements to build confidence and create a sense of community, while addressing behavioral challenges with compassion and gradual escalation when needed. Our daily activities include reading, writing, math, and social-emotional lessons, along with plenty of time for play and outdoor exploration at the park. This holistic approach ensures children not only excel academically but also develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive in school and life. We do it this way because we believe that every child deserves a nurturing space where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
