Our Teachers

After completing my degree in Psychology, I pursued specialized training in Child Education and Development in Berlin. With over a decade of experience in German preschools, kindergartens, and elementary schools, I bring a wealth of knowledge to early childhood education. In 2022, my family and I relocated to California, where I spent two years at a bilingual German school, honing my skills in a multicultural environment. Now, leveraging my extensive background, I am excited to announce the opening of my own Home Daycare, where children can thrive in a nurturing and bilingual learning environment.

Philosophy

Our Daycare Philosophy

At Tiny Explorers Bilingual Learning Home Day Care, we are inspired by the Waldorf educational philosophy, which focuses on nurturing each child’s unique potential. We believe in creating a warm, child-centered environment where intellectual, artistic, and practical activities are balanced to support holistic development.

Key Elements of Our Waldorf-Inspired Approach:

Nature-Based Learning: We love to incorporate nature into our daily routines, encouraging children to explore and appreciate the beauty of the natural world. Outdoor play and nature walks are essential parts of our curriculum, helping children develop a deep connection with the environment.

Creativity and Imagination: Our activities are designed to spark creativity and imagination. Through storytelling, art, music, and drama, we provide opportunities for children to express themselves and explore their creative potential.

Rhythms and Routines: We believe that consistent daily rhythms provide children with a sense of security and predictability. Our carefully structured routines help children feel safe and nurtured, allowing them to thrive in a stable environment.

Hands-On Learning: We emphasize hands-on, experiential learning through engaging activities. Children participate in practical tasks such as cooking, gardening, and crafting, which help develop fine motor skills and practical life skills.

Individualized Attention: We recognize that every child is unique, so we tailor our approach to meet each child’s individual needs and developmental stage. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages self-discovery and personal growth.

Bilingual Education: Embracing the Waldorf emphasis on cultural awareness, we offer a bilingual learning environment. Children are exposed to both German and English, fostering language development and cross-cultural understanding.

Our goal is to create a loving and nurturing space where children can develop a lifelong love of learning, unleash their imagination, and build a strong foundation for future growth. Join us at Tiny Explorers Bilingual Learning Home Day Care, where we celebrate the wonder of childhood through the enriching Waldorf philosophy.
