Our Teachers

Hello! I am Carley Anderson, the founder and director of Carley’s Wonderschool. I have always loved working with children, and have worked with young children since I was a teenager. I previously ran infant and preschool programming for a church in my community for 6 years. I was drawn to having my own Wonderschool program because I want to meet a need for high-quality child care in the Vacaville community.

Philosophy

Please note that our license is pending. While our license is pending, we are legally allowed to enroll and start one family. We would love to invite you to be a founding family at Carley’s Wonderschool!

At Carley’s Wonderschool, we are inspired by the Montessori philosophy and believe that children learn best when they are allowed to discover ideas and concepts on their own. We value interest-led learning, where we, as educators, put time and energy into creating activities and play invitations based on what our students have shown an interest in.

By providing a calming and open-ended environment for our students, we make sure that our students feel safe and encouraged to explore independently.

Location

Carley’s Wonderschool is a 10-minute drive from Highway 80 near Leisure Town Dr., and is a 15-minute drive from Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield. We’re located close to Cambridge Elementary School, Foxboro Elementary School, and Sierra K-8 School.

About our program

At Carley’s Wonderschool, we have a holistic approach to learning and play - we invite our students to independently explore reading, science, art, and numbers through our indoor and outdoor learning centers.

We love sharing photos and updates with our parent community through the Wonderschool app. We observe the needs of each child as an individual, and we work closely with parents to support a smooth transition and enjoyable experience for all students in our program.

Admissions

**Our program is offering a Founding Families Discount to the first family who enrolls. Prices currently reflect the discount and will be adjusted for future enrollments.**

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Carley’s Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.

Note: Until I receive my license from the state, I can only have one family enrolled in my program.
