With over 15 years of experience in private centers and preschools in San, including Cornerstone Academy and Parkside Preschool, I have developed a nurturing environment where children can flourish through a Montessori-inspired, play-based approach and engaging outdoor activities. I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and hold qualifications in early childhood education.
Additionally, I provide care for infants as young as 3 months to assist parents returning from parental leave. As the primary caregiver for all students in the program, I supervise up to six children, maintaining a ratio of 1:6.
I engage my students in various activities such as outdoor play, planting flowers, drawing, playing with wooden blocks, enjoying picnics, and building with large Legos. I regularly rotate toys and activities quarterly to keep your child’s curiosity alive and ensure they are excited for upcoming seasonal events.
Finally, I foster a supportive environment with positive reinforcement to help ensure your child is potty trained by the end of their time in my program.

Philosophy
www.mandarinsdaycare.com/our-program
Our in-home child care program follows a blend of language immersion in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. The students partake in play-based activities, which encourages them to speak up and direct the type of play they would like to engage in. Student-centered learning is a common pillar of Montessori, which our daycare is partly inspired by.
This allows a mixed-age group of infants and toddlers to socialize with each other and reach developmental milestones as a collective group. Furthermore, as a small program of up to six students, our child care provides a great stepping stone for your child to learn to socialize with other children without being overwhelmed, in comparison to large centers. Parents in particular, enjoy the individualized attention and care that their child receives at Little Mandarins.
Location
Little Mandarins Wonderschool is located in a warm, and spacious townhome community in the Logan neighborhood of Union City. My child care program is conveniently located near James Logan High School, Union City BART, and a block away from City Hall, the park, and the public library.
About our program
www.mandarinsdaycare.com/our-program
At Little Mandarins Daycare, we offer a warm, licensed, in-home environment where infants and toddlers receive personalized care with a focus on play-based, Montessori-inspired learning. What makes our program truly special is our bilingual immersion approach—children are gently introduced to Mandarin, Cantonese, and English through songs, storytelling, and everyday conversation. With a small 1:6 caregiver-to-child ratio, we’re able to observe and support each child’s individual development, while encouraging social-emotional growth and independence in a cozy, mixed-age setting. Parents often tell us how much they value our daily updates, photos, and attention to detail in care.

What sets us apart is our close-knit community and emphasis on family connection. We celebrate key American holiday festivities like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween, and Easter with activities and fun related to the season. Additionally, we host seasonal celebrations—like Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival—where families are invited to join us in learning and fun too. These events help children feel proud of their cultural learning, learn about other cultures, while giving parents a chance to engage with the program. While we keep things developmentally appropriate and simple for young children, we also incorporate early literacy, nature play, and language-focused circle times into our daily routine. At Little Mandarins, children thrive in a nurturing environment that blends culture, language, and learning in a way that feels like home.
