Our Teachers

Hello, my name is Keydin, and I am the director of Keydin’s Family Daycare. With two years of experience in childcare, I embarked on this journey after realizing the scarcity of programs offering 24-hour care in my area—a necessity I faced with my own child. Seizing the opportunity, I opened Keydin’s Family Daycare. What I find fulfilling about working with students is the reciprocal learning experience shared between adults and children. Prior to my venture into childcare, I was a mother of two, an experience that heightened my awareness of the critical need for high-quality childcare. At Keydin’s, we prioritize working closely with each family to support them in achieving their goals and fostering the holistic development of every student under our care.

Philosophy

At Keydin’s Family Daycare, we embrace a play-based philosophy enriched with a Spanish bilingual focus. We believe that play is the cornerstone of a child’s learning journey, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and social development. Through engaging activities and hands-on experiences, children explore their interests, collaborate with peers, and discover the world around them. Our bilingual approach not only celebrates diversity but also provides valuable linguistic skills that empower children in an increasingly interconnected world. By seamlessly integrating play and language, we create an immersive and nurturing environment where children thrive academically, linguistically, and emotionally. At Keydin’s, we are committed to cultivating a love for learning while honoring each child’s unique identity and cultural heritage.

Location

Nestled within the cozy confines of a family home, Keydin’s Family Daycare provides a nurturing and familiar setting for children to learn and grow. Our program seamlessly integrates with our living space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like an extension of home. Students have the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on our deck, offering a peaceful outdoor retreat for play and relaxation. Additionally, our location boasts the convenience of a local park just seven blocks away, where we eagerly take our students for outdoor adventures and exploration whenever the weather permits. At Keydin’s, we believe in providing a holistic childcare experience that embraces both indoor comfort and outdoor exploration, ensuring that every child feels right at home.
