I am very excited to meet you! I welcome you and your child to Colors Preschool. I am very happy and honored to have you and your child in my care. I am sure this will be an extraordinary experience through our mutual learning process.

I have worked in private and Head Start preschool centers for over ten years. I gained meaningful experiences working with children of preschool age in both sectors. I built positive and meaningful relationships with the children, staff, and parents. These connections have supported me in modeling myself into who I am today.

I love working with children. I love the initiative infants demonstrate and the curiosity of toddlers and preschoolers. Infants amaze me every time I see them moving onto a new milestone. Preschoolers further enlighten me with their development in personality and varies experiences that will shape them in their subsequent years. I want to be part of this development and serve as a stepstone for their successful growth.

I have graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescence Development with a concentration in Early Care and Education.

I enjoy going to Zumba and Body Combat classes. I appreciate and love learning about other cultures and their traditions. Moreover, I love trying new foods. My favorite foods are Mediterranean, Pakistani, and Mexican. Furthermore, I love reading fictional and nonfictional books. One of my favorite books is The Kite Runner. Additionally, I like to watch history and nature documentaries. And finally, I love scary movies!

Senorita Sandra ¡Estoy muy emocionado de conocerlos! Les doy la bienvenida a usted y a su hijo/a a Colors Preschool. Me siento muy feliz y honrada de tenerlo a usted y a su hijo/a bajo mi cuidado. Estoy segura de que esta será una experiencia extraordinaria a través de nuestro proceso de aprendizaje mutuo.

He trabajado en centros preescolares privados y Head Start durante más de diez años. Obtuve experiencias significativas trabajando con niños en edad preescolar en ambos sectores. Construí relaciones positivas y significativas con los niños, el personal y los padres. Estas conations me han ayudado a convertirme en quien soy hoy.

Amo trabajar con niños. Me encanta la iniciativa de los bebés y la curiosidad de los niños pequeños y preescolares. Los bebés me sorprenden cada vez que los veo avanzar hacia un nuevo hito. Los niños en edad preescolar me iluminan aún más con el desarrollo de su personalidad y las diversas experiencias que los moldearán en los años siguientes. Quiero ser parte de este desarrollo y servir como un trampolín para su crecimiento exitoso.

Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de San Francisco con una licenciatura en Desarrollo Infantil y Adolescencia con especialización en Educación Temprana.

Disfruto ir a clases de Zumba y Body Combat. Aprecio y amo aprender sobre otras culturas y sus tradiciones. Además, me encanta probar alimentos nuevos. Mis comidas favoritas son la Mediterránea, la Paquistaní y la Mexicana. Además, me encanta leer libros de ficción y no ficción. Uno de mis libros favoritos es The Kite Runner. Además, me gusta ver documentales de historia y naturaleza. Y por último, ¡me encantan las películas de terror!

Philosophy

OUR MISSION ​ The mission of Colored Bubbles Early Learning is to inspire lifelong learning by providing a quality program that benefits the child, parent, the staff and the community. Children are encouraged to discover their unique talents, strengths and individuality through structured activities and a balanced curriculum. Learning is best accomplished in a place that is emotionally secure, physically safe, and fun! A Reggio Emilia Inspired curriculum is incorporated to focus on being responsive to children’s interests in creating meaningful learning experiences.

Children’s play is extremely vital to healthy physical development, acceptable social skills and cognitive growth. The curriculum will be enhanced primarily using play to teach kids life related experiences and so children may engage in play on their own and explore different materials and areas of learning such as, Math, Language, Music, Social Skills, Art, and Science.

Some of the most important things that we can teach our kids are diversity and empathy for others. This is accomplished through role modeling. All people are treated with kindness and respect. Everyone should be respected and acknowledged so that children feel welcome and so that they act up upon those teachings in their developing years.
At Colored Bubbles Early Learning children will be exposed to the Spanish and English language and will incorporate diversity in the curriculum so that all children and parents are individually recognized culturally and linguistically. ​

Se anima a los niños a descubrir sus talentos, fortalezas e individualidad única a través de actividades estructuradas con un plan de estudios equilibrado. ¡El aprendizaje se logra mejor en un lugar que sea emocionalmente seguro, físicamente seguro y divertido! Se incorpora un plan de estudios inspirado en Reggio Emilia para centrarse en responder a los intereses de los niños y crear una experiencia de aprendizaje significativa.

El juego de los niños es extremadamente vital para un desarrollo físico saludable, habilidades sociales aceptables y crecimiento cognitivo. El plan de estudios se mejorará principalmente utilizando el juego para enseñar a los niños experiencias relacionadas con la vida y para que los niños puedan participar en juegos por su cuenta y explorar diferentes materiales y áreas de aprendizaje como Matemáticas, Lenguaje, Música, Habilidades Sociales, Arte y Ciencias.

Algunas de las cosas más importantes que podemos enseñar a nuestros hijos son la diversidad y la empatía por los demás. Esto se logra a través del modelaje a seguir. Location

Colored Bubbles Early Learning located in a quiet neighborhood in Cayuga Terrace. Nearby buses are 8,8X and 54. Highway 280 is a few minutes away. Balboa Park is a few minutes away and close to several elementary and high schools.

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/colors-preschool-7958/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
