Hello! I am Brenda, the founder of Love N Care Preschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have been running my program for 23 years.
I got started when my grandson was born and I wanted him to stay home with me. I have 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
When I’m not running my program, I love to spend time with my family, go bowling, and travel. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
Hi! My name is Ms. Tony and I am the main teacher at Love N Care Preschool. I have 32 units of Early Childhood Education courses and a center director level permit. I was the director of a Center for multiple years before transitioning to this in home program to be able to impact students on a more individualized level.
Testimonials
As seen on our Yelp page:
“My daughter just started here and she absolutely loves it! The teachers are so caring and loving and most importantly you can tell the children love being there! As a mom you want a care provider that is an extension of yourself and I feel truly blessed to have found this daycare. Mrs. Brenda, Ms. Jessica, ms. G and ms.Daniella have been so great in helping my daughter transition to a new daycare :-)” - Brittany S.
“My daughter has been going here for a few months and I see the biggest change in her social skills and learning skills. She is only 2 and she comes home counting 1-20, singing her ABC’s and telling me all about the friends that she has there. This is the first preschool/daycare that I have had her in and I am so pleased with Mrs. Brenda and Ms. D, they are so caring and really take an interest in my daughters outside life. They are patient and let me know what my daughter needs to focus on, listening of course, and what she is excelling at. My daughter tries so hard to be a big kid and so it is really helpful that the classes are split into different ages to the have different learning goals that are age appropriate and also come together to increase their social skills. I couldn’t ask for a better place to help me raise my daughter.” - Krissy L. (Sacramento)
“My son is learning a lot from the short time he’s been at this daycare. He seems so much happier there than his previous daycare.” - Maria A
“I was so blessed to have found love n care preschool! After going through 2 other daycare/preschools that either had poor/questionable management or was too expensive last year, I was eager to find a place that could offer my family high quality daycare at an affordable rate. Because of my previous experiences, I spent months interviewing and reviewing daycare services and for a while my efforts were no no avail. Then one day, I stumbled on love n care through an internet search and Ms. Brenda and her fabulous team saved the day!
This is the only place I’ve been to that said they had a menu, daily schedule, and monthly newsletter and actually had one! They even took the time to welcome my family to the preschool and included my daughter’s picture in the new students welcome, which made a lasting impression on me. No other place took time to ensure that she was having safe, monitored activities where she could explore without being held all day or in a play pen. No other place has take the time to return soiled outfits and baby jars/bottles cleaned and ready to go for the next usage. Any requests or concerns you have, they address promptly. This places really cares about people and they demonstrate that by going above and beyond on a daily basis.
In addition to high quality care and affordability, I was looking for a place that was genuine and stable. No fake pictures, or fake smiles here (Yes I’ve experienced that). The pictures you see are true photos of the staff, the children, and the home. What you see is what you get! There’s no problems among staff or management, no petty charges, and there’s real learning going on (not just play and watch tv). They made me feel really comfortable leaving my daughter with them and they encourage parent participation so you know there is no secrecy of what they do with your child when your not there (I’ve experienced this also when a daycare changed management). They have piano and dance lessons, they go on field trips, and her house is baby/kid friendly as she has dedicated and designed a portion of her house just for daycare. I KNOW Ms. Brenda and her staff love the kids!
It is obvious that Ms. Brenda and her team have been in the business for years and they know what it takes to keep it running. Ms. Brenda and her staff are consistent and from my first meeting with them, I noticed that they were organized, clean, and the kids respond well to them. I have seen them interact with the students, I have been by unexpectedly, and I maybe have even been the paranoid mom, but still they have treated me kindly, with respect and been the same since day one.
I highly recommend Love and Care preschool and I look forward to having my daughter learn more with them each day.” - Kim A. (Sacramento)

About our program
At Love N Care Wonderschool, we continually strive for excellence. We work to provide all of the experiences your child needs to get ready for kindergarten.
We believe in hands-on learning experiences, whether that’s through arts and crafts, gardening, baking, or climbing on our backyard play structure. We use a theme-based approach to our curriculum and provide a variety of related activities for children to explore.
On Monday/Wednesday we do Fine Arts and on Tuesday/Thursday we have Spanish lessons.
Learning to navigate conflict and manage behavior are important skills to learn for kindergarten. We will calmly support them in developing these skills. When necessary we will use redirection to help solve conflict.
We serve healthy meals and snacks every day, making sure to offer fruits and vegetables at every meal. Sample menus include chicken, pasta and vegetables.
