Our Teachers
Welcome to Caterpillars 2 Butterflies Childcare, my name is Vern Murphy. I’d like to share a little about myself and my business.
I have over 10 years of experience with the care of children starting with babysitting as a teenager and later raising 2 children of my own, along with 4 beautiful grandchildren. I am currently going to school at night to continue to develop my education.
I love the work that I do and cannot imagine doing anything else. I look forward to meeting your family!
Achievements
Philosophy
At Caterpillars 2 Butterflies Childcare Wonderschool, we strive to create the highest quality of care possible for our children. We believe in creating a balanced program that has structured activities but also allows students to develop through play.
We, at Caterpillars 2 Butterflies, celebrate the whole child, family and the community. We advocate open communication with parents, for they ultimately play the most vital role in their child’s intellectual and social development. Parents and teacher share a common priority: providing the best that they possibly can for the child.

Location
Caterpillars 2 Butterflies Childcare Wonderschool is located in a warm, welcoming single family home near the Natomas Estates neighborhood.
We love this area because our neighbors are very friendly and family oriented. In addition, we are conveniently located to the connecting freeways allowing families to easily commute to and from surrounding areas. Plenty of street parking available!
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard. They children love water play and science exploration. We understand that fresh air is necessary to cognitive development and growth!
