Soy originaria de Chihuahua, Mexico, donde mi educación fue en el campo médico. Me gradué como Médico, pero por razones fuera de mi alcance me vine a este país con mis dos hijos pequeños en ese tiempo. En el 2019 una persona amiga me comentó sobre sus experiencias con su guardería y me interesé en abrir una pensando que podría ayudar a hacer una diferencia en la vida de los niños y así fue como abrí mi guardería en abril de 2020.
I am originally from Chihuahua, Mexico where my education was focused on medicine. I became a doctor and then moved to the US with my two young children.
In 2019, a friend shared with me her experience with her child’s care program, and it inspired me to to start my own program to make a difference in the lives of children and improve the quality of care available. I opened my program in 2020.
Philosophy
Ledezma Family Child Care is a Spanish bilingual program that embraces a play-based philosophy to support the development of young children. We believe that children are naturally curious and active learners who learn best through hands-on experiences and exploration. Our program provides a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages children to develop their unique talents, interests, and abilities.
Our program philosophy is grounded in the belief that children’s learning is holistic, encompassing their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and linguistic development. We recognize that children are unique individuals with their own strengths, interests, and cultural backgrounds, and we value and celebrate these differences. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding among children and their families.
At Ledezma Family Child Care, we view play as an essential component of children’s learning and development. We believe that play allows children to engage in meaningful experiences that foster their curiosity, creativity, and imagination. Our play-based curriculum provides children with opportunities to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on activities, games, songs, stories, and art.
We also recognize the importance of language development in young children, particularly in a bilingual setting. Our Spanish bilingual program aims to promote bilingualism and biliteracy among children by integrating Spanish language and culture into all aspects of our curriculum. We believe that learning a second language at a young age enhances children’s cognitive, linguistic, and social skills, and fosters a lifelong appreciation for diversity and multiculturalism.
Location
We are in a great location for a daycare center. The area is well-connected, with easy access to major roads and highways, making it convenient for parents dropping off and picking up their children. The neighborhood is also family-friendly, with plenty of parks, playgrounds, and community centers in the vicinity. The building itself is spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and outdoor space for children to play and explore. Overall, 540 West Cedar offers an ideal location for a daycare center, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.
