Philosophy

The philosophy of Flores Family Child Care is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play, and that each child is unique and deserving of individualized care and attention. Our program is grounded in the principles of respect, kindness, and cultural sensitivity, and we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.

At Flores Family Child Care, we recognize the importance of bilingualism and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our community. We believe that all children have the right to learn and communicate in their native language, and we provide opportunities for children to develop their language skills in both Spanish and English.

Play is at the heart of our program, and we view it as the primary means of learning and self-discovery for young children. We offer a play-based curriculum that is designed to engage children’s natural curiosity and encourage exploration and discovery. Our program includes a variety of hands-on activities, including art, music, storytelling, and outdoor play, that are designed to stimulate children’s creativity and imagination.
