Our Teachers
Rida Battuta is the owner and lead provider of Precious Blessings Daycare. Holding a degree in Early Childhood Development, Rida always dreamed of launching her own in-home childcare program after graduating in 2007. That dream became a reality after the birth of her daughter, which inspired her to officially open her doors. Her favorite part of teaching is building deep, lasting relationships with the children and their families. Rida firmly believes that small class sizes and a strong sense of community allow her team to understand each child as an individual, providing them with a supportive foundation during their critical early years.
Testimonials
We’ve been thrilled with this daycare! My kids are always excited to go, thanks to the fun activities and tasty food. It’s comforting to know they’re in such caring hands. Highly recommended for any parent seeking a nurturing and engaging environment for their children.
Philosophy
At Precious Blessings We believe that children learn best when they are free to explore, create, and discover the world around them. While we prepare children for the future with foundational early academics, we do so through hands-on play rather than rigid worksheets. Our program is built on core Christian values of faith, love, and kindness. We nurture not just your child’s mind, but also their heart, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and loved as a unique child of God.
Location
We are located in Durant Square East Oakland/ San Leandro border.
