Our Teachers
Teachers provide real life resources and opportunities for exploration that help further develop children’s understanding through books, field site visits, expert meetings, or experimenting. We dedicate time each day to ‘Investigate’ to further our curiosity, think critically, find our own answers, and work together through project based learning.

About our program
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Students at CREATIVE SPACE are always excited to get involved in our after-school activities. We provide a variety of options for all types of interests, and encourage students to find the best fit for them.
NATURE
The Creative Space’s outdoor classroom was carefully designed to safely connect children with nature. The outdoor classroom is a multi level outdoor oasis with spaces for children to climb, explore, slide, run, build, imaginatively play, jump, observe animals and plants, find solitude, and garden.
CREATIVITY
The Waldorf approach is celebrated in our program through play based creative learning with a focus on natural materials and exploration in the outdoors. We wish for children to have the chance to explore, be curious, and develop a love of learning. We aim to teach children how to think, not what to think.
ACADEMICS
Creative Space was created to offer the unique learning experience of a nontraditional Jewish school inspired by
Regio Emilia and Waldorf practices. This is an intimate learning environment with less than ten children in a mixed-age
Preschool/Kindergarten classroom. The classroom is not just desks and books - but an indoor and outdoor oasis designed for optimum creative thinking and to nourish children’s love for learning.
INVESTIGATION & CRITICAL THINKING
At the Creative Space, we use project based learning to help instill a love of learning and curiosity into each child as they become an expert in a topic they’re interested in. As children are playing, exploring, and engaging in whatever they may be interested in, they naturally develop questions.
