Testimonials
Child’s Play has been such a great place for our baby to learn, grow, explore and more importantly, be cared for by lovely people. We have been so fortunate to have started our child care journey at Child’s Play and seen how our baby has been able to grow bonds with all the care takers in ways we could not have imagined. Leaving your child in the care of someone else is always going to be scary, but our experience with Tracy and Kaamil and everyone at the school has allowed us the comfort in knowing that they take care of him like they would their own. The updates throughout the day, along with photos, gives me such peace of mind and allows me some insight into his day.

Child’s Play Wonderschool is the daycare that we have dreamed of brought to reality. We are so happy with the staff, facilities, and environment that we couldn’t imagine a better scenario. My wife and I were very apprehensive about the child care search process and had a few tough experiences. Kaamil and her staff have brought a level of assurance and stability to our lives that is priceless. It’s been a wonderful experience and we’re thankful to be a part of it.

We had toured many preschools in the Oakland area and even had our daughter on a few lists, but after touring Child’s Play Wonderschool, meeting the staff and seeing how our daughter reacted to the environment we knew this was a better fit. She was greeted with warmth, intrigued by the thoughtfully crafted play areas and challenged with concepts fitting for 2 year old’s development. We are confident that she will feel loved and flourish academically during her time here.

About our program
All-Inclusive Program
As a parent of two very active boys, success is sometimes simply measured by making it to the car with both boys present. Child’s Play Wonderschool LLC was designed with the busy parent in mind.
All you need remember when you arrive to Child’s Play Wonderschool LLC is your child. We’ll take care of the rest. No need to bring diapers, wipes or cream as we offer an Honest Brand Company diaper service. We offer organic and whole grain lunches and snacks. For those little ones still drinking formula, we provide Earth’s Best Organic and Sensitive formula. We have a nap companion (sheet, blanket and pillow) and water bottle picked out especially for your child.
Enrichment Centers
We’ve designed an enriching environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include music and movement (for expressing mood and feeling and exploring sounds, tempo and pitch), art workshop (for engaging in open-ended and creative projects using a variety of art media and materials) and STEM (where children are invited to explore scientific concepts in the world around them, use technological tools to navigate through the 21st century and think logically to solve problems).
Time Spent Outdoors
Children will have outdoor time everyday in our private front courtyard and back deck. In our courtyard, children will have access to a playhouse, Imagination Playground blocks, a sandbox and space to explore. And on our deck, children will have access to our community garden, sensory table, picnic tables and plenty of space to lounge and reflect.
