Yolanda Casillas, Director -Nanny (CPR verified)

I am a mother of 4, ages 27-14 y/o. It is a passion of mine to watch over babies and toddlers with love and care. I have been blessed to pursue my passion for over 30+ years.

I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with respect and compassion. I strive to create a safe, fun, and educational environment where children can thrive. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to help them learn and grow. I am confident that I can provide families with the highest quality of care and would be honored to be a part of your child’s life.

Philosophy

At Bilingual Garden Daycare, we believe in nurturing the whole child by providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. Our approach is rooted in three key pillars: bilingual education, holistic care, and nutritious living.

1. Bilingual Education:

We embrace the beauty and benefits of bilingualism by immersing children in two languages daily. Through songs, stories, games, and natural conversation, we foster language development, cultural awareness, and cognitive growth. Our goal is to empower children to communicate confidently and embrace diversity.

2. Caring Environment:

Every child deserves to feel loved and valued. We provide a nurturing home setting where trust, kindness, and respect are the foundation. By cultivating a sense of belonging and emotional security, we encourage children to explore, express themselves, and build positive relationships.

3. Nutritious Living:

Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds. We prioritize wholesome, balanced meals and snacks, using fresh, nutritious ingredients to support physical development and instill lifelong healthy eating habits. Mealtimes are an opportunity to teach children about food, share cultural traditions, and enjoy communal bonding.

Our Mission:

To create a joyful and inclusive space where children flourish emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually, while equipping them with the tools to navigate a multilingual, multicultural world.

Location

We are located in Oakland, CA at the heart of Cox. We are located near an Elementary and Middle School. Near San Leandro, CA where we enjoy to go for Library field trips.
