Our Teachers

Brenda Rivera, Director

Brenda has her California Master Teacher Permit and over 50 units of Early Childhood education. She worked in a Reggio based center, and realized while working there that a small class size allows children to reach their full potential. A small group allows for the children’s teacher, Brenda, to fulfill all their needs and make observations to further their development. After working in said center for 5 years and obtained my permit I chose to open up my own daycare in my home. Together, families and myself, will help your child discover and explore their environment. I will strive to build a community within my daycare for your child flourish.

Philosophy

Futuros Del Mañana Wonderschool prides itself in high quality child care. We are an immersive Spanish-speaking daycare. In addition to Spanish, we will also teach children basic ASL fundamentals for younger infants to communicate their needs. Children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. The best way for children to learn is through self discovery. I have done thorough research regarding the Reggio Emilia approach, and have worked in a Reggio center. In Futuros Del Mañana Wonderschool we will use the aforementioned Reggio approach to guide children in fostering their ideas and development. I will collaborate with the children in their learning endeavor. Whether your child is two months old or 4 years old, the provocations at Futuros Del Mañana will be tailored to their specific age and interest. Together, your family and Futuros Del Mañana Wonderschool will build a community that will help your child discover the wonders of the world around them.

We are within walking distance of North Hollywood Park.

About our program

Futuros del Mañana is a Reggio based in home daycare. Using the Reggio approach ensures teachers develop provocations based on observing each child individually. We will use there observations for our parent teacher conferences (PTC). We will offer two PTC’S per year for your family and I to communicate about you child’s milestones. Futuros del Mañana is also a Spanish immersion program, studies show that children under the age of 5 years old can grasp a new language more efficiently.

2. Tour our program Come see what makes Brenda’s School unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
