Our Teachers

Hello! I am Daisy, the founder of Daisy’s Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 7 years of experience working with young children.

Philosophy

Our philosophy at Daisy’s Wonderschool is centered around providing a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We believe in fostering social, cognitive, and emotional skills through hands-on experiences that cater to each child’s interests. By prioritizing safety, love, and support, we aim to help children feel confident and capable as they interact with new ideas and concepts. Our play-based approach, with a focus on outdoor activities, is designed to harness the benefits of nature for optimal child development. Additionally, our bilingual program offers daily care and activities in both Spanish and English, further enriching your child’s intellectual and social journey.

Location

Daisy’s Wonderschool is easily accessible through the 10 and 60 freeways and borders Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland. Children are offered a multitude of materials to work and play with. Our lovely home is designed for children to feel welcomed and nurtured and allows them to connect with themselves and with their peers to enjoy all of our program’s offerings. The common room is the focal point for reading, writing, conversation, music, art, rest, and science. There are nearby parks, including Anthony Munoz Park, and Zaratoga Park and many more within walking distance. Organic foods and healthy living are extremely important to all of us here at Daisy’s Wonderschool.

About our program

Our classroom is divided into several learning areas for children 6 months to school age. Our areas address development in gross and fine motor skills, language and early literacy skills, creative arts, and social and emotional development.

Our Learning Centers

Carpet Time - this center is the heart of our program where we will meet for group activities such as Stories and Songs.

Library - an abundance of soft and cozy pillows, blankets, puppets and stuffed animals make this center the perfect place to snuggle up with a book or just take a break from the action. The library area is stocked with a rotation of easily accessible board books.

Block Area - large soft blocks and a set of wooden unit blocks are the mainstays in this center, accompanied by a rotation of appropriate complementary toys.

Gross Motor - A variety of manipulative toys will rotate into our classroom for our children to explore hands-on activities.

Dramatic Play - the mainstays in this center are our kitchen and dolls. Our dolls are an excellent tool in supporting potty training as well as new sibling adjustment. A large variety of rotating items in this center allow toddlers to explore their emerging need for pretend play and imitation.

Lunch Table - This area wears many different hats. It is where we meet for family style snacks and meals. It is also where we do arts and crafts and other activities.

Outdoor Play - We will periodically tote a variety of push/ride toys, balls, tunnels and tents, and other outdoor toys with us to play with as well.
