Hello! I am Angelica Rodriguez, the founder of Angelica’s Daycare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 32 years of experience working with young children.

Tanya, Laura and Marco are also teachers and part of our family run child care program.

Philosophy

We are proud to say we are a bilingual program, which sets us apart from others! We provide the best of both worlds in child care. Not only do we provide the children with a safe and nurturing second home, but also strive to prepare them to thrive in a school environment by providing a cognitive-based program. The children are exposed to different activities including Spanish immersion, yoga, and music. We also ensure the children are given nutritious home cooked meals. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our home!

Location

Angelica’s Daycare Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming single family home in the Hollywood neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses), and nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts).

Children will spend about half of their time outdoors in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
