Blanca Hidalgo, Owner/Teacher
Blanca graduated from the Imperial Valley College in 2008 with a Disability Services degree. In 2012, she realized her passion for working with young children. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Philosophy
At our school, we strive to create a safe, meaningful, and caring environment inspired by the Play-based learning setting. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We focus on Social and Emotional development, while we introducing Spanish to our everyday activities.
By playing, they will learn skills they need such as: confidence. Play is an important component of both language development and understanding the external world as children play, and role play, situations to find solutions. They are encouraged to initiate activities, and follow their own interest.
