Our Teachers

Hello! I am Marjan Nayeh, the founder of Paradise Kids Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 5 years of experience working with young children.

I have been working with children since 1994! The ages range from infants to school-age children. I have always loved working with children and it has been a wonderful experience working at Paradise Kids, where we truly believe in providing the best care and education for these young minds.

My career with children started in 2013. I would volunteer at my little sister’s school as she grew. I never imagined I would eventually develop an admiration in helping to motivate children to grow and expand their minds. Now, I am proud to say that I am working at the most amazing in-home daycare, Paradise Kids. Here, education is implemented in these children’s daily life and it really shows.

Both our boys have been going to Paradise Kids since they were 3 months and 2.5 years old. Marjan and her assistant Niharika are extraordinary women who care and love kids so much. They go above and beyond with the children and our boys absolutely adore them and love going to them everyday. It is not easy for any parents to leave their young kids with anyone. It took us a lot of courage to leave our 3 month old infant for work, and Paradise Kids made the transition so much easier and we are forever grateful. Philosophy

We believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by developing a deep connection to nature. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

Here at Paradise Kids, we use a Reggio Emilia and Play Based approach where we follow the children’s interest in order to promote learning. We believe that children learn through their experiences as they play. Our environment is set up for exploration and provides opportunities for children to collaborate and explore with support of the educators. Here, you will see children engaged in group settings where we are all learning together (educators included). This allows children to develop the ability to problem solve, increase their language development, enhance their social skills, learn the fundamentals, and so much more all while engaged in play.

We also acknowledge diversity by celebrating the cultures and traditions represented in our program. We aim to nurture a positive sense of self in our children through learning about one another and what we believe to be valuable.

Lastly, we work to foster a connection to nature. Children are encouraged to explore their indoor and outdoor world to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our goal at Paradise Kids is to provide children with an adoration for learning that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Location

Paradise Kids Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, spacious single family home in the Irvine-College Park neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts).

Children will spend about half of their time outdoors in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At Paradise Kids Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/paradise-kids-wonderschool-3509/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
