Hello! I am Chamari Liyanage, the founder of Little Sunflowers Childcare. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 9 years of experience working with young children.
Philosophy
At Little Sunflowers Childcare, we believe that children are well cared for and nurtured! It is our goal to provide an environment that helps prepare children to thrive in school and the broader world. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
Location
Little Sunflowers Childcare is located in a welcoming, warm apartment in the Park West neighborhood.
We’ve designed our space with a library, manipulative / blocks section, ball corner and music section.
Children will spend about half of their time outdoors at a mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. We have a beautiful patio set up especially for kids! We are also close to 3 local parks and will visit them as well.
At Little Sunflowers Childcare, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
