Auri Rodriguez, Director

Hello! I am Auri Rodriguez, the founder of Learning Child Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 26 years of experience working with young children.

Luz Morales, Assistant Teacher

Ms. Luz is a registered nurse and have worked with children for over 20 years. She also has experience as a Director of a licensed center for more than 5 years. Ms. Luz spends most of her time at Learning Child Wonderschool providing care to all the infants.

Stacey Vidal, Assistant Teacher

Ms. Stacey has an Associate Degree in Accounting and Business and has 5 years of experience working with toddlers.

Philosophy

At Learning Child Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space.

Location

Learning Child Wonderschool is located in a cozy, welcoming townhouse in the Westpark neighborhood. Located between the 405 and 5 freeway, this convenient location is a prime location for any parents living or working in this area. The community has its own playground and parks, allowing children to have fun outdoor time in a variety of settings.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

At Learning Child Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

Welcome to Learning Child Wonderschool!

Our childcare provides your children a home away from home and the opportunity to develop their own sense identity. Our program is a Spanish bilingual program, allowing children to develop two languages at one time. With a balance of play and learn, we strive to ensure children are happy and successful.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Learning Child Wonderschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/learning-child-wonderschool-3601/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
