My oldest started at six weeks and my youngest at three months. My oldest was with Sharina’s day care for four years. She loved and still loves Sharina. My youngest hasn’t seen Sharina for over six months, he’s only two but still asks about her. For him to remember her at such a young age speaks volumes.

Some reasons we had a positive experience:

The daycare supports parents who work and we found them to be very accommodating.

They supported us with potty training and were actually instrumental.

Learning does take place, one day my daughter walked in knowing her days of the week. I was shocked I had been working on it unsuccessfully. Soon she knew her months of the year. Art work always littered our fridge.

We’ve recommended numerous family and friends and will continue to do so.

Trusting your child’s care to someone else is a very difficult decision. But not if that someone is Sharina.

Sharina and her staff have compassion for the children they care for. My two children have attended Sharina’s for nearly three years and they have a blast each day! They are learning essential skills like sharing, listening, conflict resolution as well as writing, and individual creative expression through various art projects. The daycare is on a safe block and is across the street from an elementary school. A racially diverse group of kids attend, which is also important to our family.

Ms. Sharina was a God send!! Our son was having a lot of trouble handling frustration in a healthy manner. Ms. Sharina, and her other teachers, worked their magic with an abundance of patience, fun, and love. She saved us and was an integral part of teaching our son socialization skills. Our kiddo adored Ms. Sharina and will always love her. He is now doing well in Kindergarten, largely because of his time with Ms. Sharina. Anyone looking for the absolute best for their child need look no further.

My daughter went to Sharina’s daycare for about three years. In that time my daughter learned to socialize, spell her name, ABCs, and counting to 20. At 3 years old. They provided her with excellent care and structure. By the time my daughter entered kindergarten this past July, her teachers commented that she was above average, which I know Sharina was a big part of. Sharina’s rates are reasonable for all your child will learn with her. Sharina was always very reasonable and accommodating of any needs I had, whether I needed my daughter to stay a little later or come a little earlier. Aside from great care, Sharina also works with the family and treats all of the children under her care as family. My daughter still regularly tells me she misses Sharina and all of her friends from daycare. I highly recommend Sharina’s daycare 5/5.

We have been going to Sharina’s Daycare for 3 years and we are going to miss her. It is time to have our daughter go to kindergarten and that is the reason we are having to leaving. Our daughter had great friendships during her time here.

Ms. Sharina is very patient and reasonable with both the kids and the parents situations/schedules.

We would get constant updates on how our daughter was doing both good and bad. It was all very constructive feedback and we really appreciated it.

The kids would have a curriculum with playtime (inside and outside), tv time, arts and crafts, reading, and math. The kids even made seasonal arts and crafts like Easter baskets, Valentines cards, Mother’s Day cards, Father’s Day cards, etc..

I cannot say enough about Ms. Sharina’s patience since my daughter takes a really long time to eat and generally avoids naps. Never once did she complain about this since she just wanted to make sure my daughter did not bother any other kids.

I cannot say enough about Ms. Sharina after coming from a previous bad experience and was hesitant in trying another Daycare.

If we have another child in the future I will definitely enroll them into Ms. Sharina’s Daycare.

Sharina’s Daycare has been a part of my family for about 15 years. Three of my children have attended this daycare, the oldest is now in college. I am a bit neurotic when it comes to my kids, so I would call and speak to my son on the phone during the day. Sharina was very patient with me as she held the phone to the ear of my 6 month old. Yes, I said 6 months. Come to think of it, maybe that was a little much…

My youngest in now in the 5th grade and asks can he go to Sharina’s on days that I pick him up. Now he only goes on specific days during the week, but he would like to go everyday.

That’s another great thing, Sharina’s is located right across the street from Schafer Park Elementary so she is perfectly located for after school care and she watches the kids as they cross the street to her house.

She works with your schedule and is very reasonably priced compared to other daycares.

She treats every child as her own and the lasting relationships that she builds with them are proof of the love and nurture that they receive under her care.

My baby has been with Sharina for almost a year now. He is very happy there. How do I know that? Every morning when I knock on Sharina’s door, he waits for her to open the door with a shy grin on his face. Also, when it is time for him to leave, he protests with grunts. Sharina keeps him happy and healthy. So when I am at work, I don’t worry about his well-being because I know he is in good hands.

About our program

We offer high quality programs for infants through school-age children. Our focus is to develop the whole child, giving each child the skills he or she needs to excel socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where learning is fun! Our multitude of activities-based curriculum fosters individual growth by providing plenty of opportunities to learn and grow at his/her own pace. We encourage you to come and visit our center and experience the warm atmosphere we provide!

Admissions

We also provide rates for hourly services and half days. Please inquire within!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option is not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.

There is a fee to secure your position in our daycare. Registration fees are non-refundable.
