Our Teachers

Hello, welcome to our program! My name is Ms. Melissa, the founder and director of Everblossom Outdoor Learning. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Women’s Studies from UC Santa Barbara. I also am a Los Angeles Master Gardener. I have wilderness first-aid training and have been CPR certified for infants and young children. I have been caring for young children for 20+ years through my own children and taking care of other families children. I am a parent of 1 adult child. I am passionate about early education and truly love having an impact on the earliest stage of children’s academic lives. I am excited to meet you and provide your children with the highest quality care and education.

Philosophy

We follow the Forest School curriculum philosophy, Forest School - which gives children the opportunity to experience unstructured, child-inspired play that is 100% outdoors. Nature is our teacher as we play and explore the natural wonders of the outdoor world. The children guide their own learning as they choose activities and topics they are interested in while outside. We believe the diversity and richness of sensations and experiences offered by being outside helps children develop and grow.

Location

The beautiful foothills of Kukkamonga /Jurupa / Tongva land aka Fontana, a short walk to North Tamarind park and .5 mile from the Electric Pacific trail. An easy walk along the trail leads to the new Lewis Library. Families can easily access dropoff via the 210 or 15 fwys.
