Hello! I am Petra, the director and head teacher at Ramona Park Wonderschool.
I have over 20 years of experience working with young children, including over 10 years as a preschool teacher. It is my dream to open a program where I can help young ones blossom and grow, while sharing the beauty of nature and teaching them new songs.
I am also the proud mother of 5 grown children.
Philosophy
Our mission at Ramona Park Wonderschool is to make a positive impact on young children’s lives. We are committed to supporting every child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and moral development, and helping encourage empathy by teaching respect for others and their feelings.
Nature, music, and the arts are an important part in our curriculum. Children benefit from becoming environmentally conscious and learning the importance of caring for the Earth and its creatures. Outdoor time is key in our program; we go on hikes to introduce children to the science and wonders of nature through hands-on activities. We also spend time enjoying music, story, dance, and arts and crafts, which help children grow their social and creative skills.
