Philosophy
Happy Home offers an alternative to a large daycare center. Our home-based environment gives children a familiar, welcoming place where they can receive personal attention while becoming part of a close-knit childcare community. We work to create predictable routines while leaving plenty of room for creativity, exploration and spontaneous fun. Children have opportunities to play independently, participate in group activities, spend time outdoors and develop important social and emotional skills. Every child has a unique personality, learning style and pace of development. We encourage children to try new things, express themselves and grow more confident through age-appropriate experiences.

About our program
Hello! My name is Alicia, and welcome to Happy Home! I have provided in-home childcare for more than 15 years, beginning as a childcare assistant before eventually opening my own in-home daycare. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and build confidence through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. At Happy Home, we spend as much time learning outdoors as possible, giving children opportunities to explore nature, stay active, and discover the world around them. We also offer a dedicated indoor classroom where children participate in engaging preschool lessons and developmentally appropriate activities.
