Our Teachers

I worked in healthcare for over a decade before I was able to pursue my true dream: running an in-home daycare. I provide a Montessori-inspired environment for the kiddos. My program encourages independence, as well as more individualized attention to really help the child master certain skills, if needed.

Philosophy

My program is really all about small ratios and individual attention. I prepare the environment based on their interests and skills they are trying to master. My program isn’t so much about schedule, as much as it is about rhythm. Meals, nap, potty time, learning time all gets done, but maybe at different times each day. If I notice the kiddos are wanting to paint, we paint. I don’t make them wait on a schedule that may say “right now it’s circle time”. We would just have circle time after they are finished with their work.

Location

We are in Karen Hills neighborhood in Salem. I am in a very quiet neighborhood, with tons of room for nature walks and play!
