All staff members are in the process of earning their Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. We are implementing the Teaching Strategies Texas GOLD curriculum and working toward obtaining our Texas Rising Star Certification. We are excited to see the positive impact these advancements will have on our families in the future!

Staff Credentials:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History Check
• First Aid & CPR Certified
• Certified Food Handlers
• Training Certifications that Exceed State Requirements
• Drivers Required to Have Clean Driving Records

Each day, we begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, instilling a sense of community, respect, and responsibility. Our dedicated, long-term staff—deeply rooted in the Irving community—are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.

We provide an enriching environment where children explore, discover, and grow at their own pace. Through structured and unstructured play, we encourage:

• Social and Emotional Development – Building friendships, empathy, and problem-solving skills through interactive play.
• Cognitive Growth – Engaging in hands-on activities that promote curiosity and a love for discovery.
• Physical Development – Strengthening motor skills through active play, outdoor exploration, and movement-based activities.
• Spiritual and Moral Development – Incorporating faith-based values through our in-house Vacation Bible School and daily interactions.

Our Super Summer Activities enhance learning through exciting experiences, including field trips for school-aged children and engaging in-house activities for preschoolers. We aim to create an atmosphere where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Adventure Discovery Center is a Christian, family-owned private business dedicated to providing affordable, quality childcare for Irving families since 1992.
