With hearts of gold, our staff members are CPR certified and foster a nurturing environment where they care for one another and our students alike…we are simply all yearning for fresh space to see this through. We prioritize professional development and collaborative learning, ensuring that all team members attend training sessions aimed at enhancing our students’ experience.

The majority of our educators are fluent in Spanish and hold certifications in Montessori education or are actively working towards obtaining a Texas teaching certification. While our team represents a rich tapestry of backgrounds and experiences, we are united in our unwavering dedication to honoring and respecting the child in very single form.

Mission: At Cosmic Roots Farm School, we cultivate Earth Repairians – young minds dedicated to sustainable living, environmental stewardship, and community bonds. Our mission is to establish an educational eco-village in Central Texas, championing 100% regenerative practices through hands-on learning and meticulous documentation. We empower our students as Food Forest Ambassadors, Global Citizens, and Permaculture Practitioners, fostering a deep connection to nature, resilience, and impactful societal contributions. Through dynamic, project-based learning and the embrace of risky/adventurous play, we equip our students to excel in a healthier, more interconnected world.

Vision: Our vision at Cosmic Roots is to lead the way in educational innovation, creating an environment where children flourish amidst outdoor exploration, experiential learning, and reconnecting people to our earth through personalized instruction inspired by Montessori principles. We envision a close-knit community where students develop a profound reverence for nature, evolve into compassionate global citizens, and emerge as self-assured, independent learners poised to make meaningful connections through localizing subsistence systems and providing education in sustainable decentralized food production and healthy ecosystems.

Cosmic Roots, a non-profit organization in Georgetown, TX, supports Montessori-inspired farm schools for children. Located on environmentally significant land rich in minerals, it fosters diverse crop growth and enhances educational experiences. The school’s expansive space encourages exploration and family engagement. One owner, a certified Texas educator and outdoor instructor, and the other, educated in psychology, passionately nurture children’s abilities, promoting a love for learning and a sense of belonging. Their combined expertise and dedication make Cosmic Roots a unique and impactful educational institution.
