Hello, My name is Latoya Smith. I have worked for SunShine Day Care for 20+ years, of that, 11 as director and Pre-K teacher, 6 as owner and personnel manager, 4 years as an infant/ toddler teacher. I moved to North Texas in 2018 and decided to open a home daycare in 2023. I am CPR and 1st Aid certified.

To all the moms out there, if you’re looking for a daycare for your child to go to, Sunshine daycare is the place to be. Ms. Latoya is literally the BEST. Not even two days before I had to go back in office for work, a family friend could no longer watch my 6 month old son and I was freaking out on who would take care of my baby. I went to a daycare group and found Ms. Latoya. I reached out to her and she responded immediately ready to help! She has an inhome daycare and has been doing this for over 24 years. We did a tour the next day and it was everything I could ever imagined for my baby. Her home is beautiful, in a safe and wonderful neighborhood, super clean & neat and has so many activities for the kids to do! She also has an app where she documents his feedings, nap time, and the activities they do which warms my heart to see while I’m at work. I always say it’s very important on who watches our kids because they are helping us raise them while we are away at work and I can honestly say I’m extremely blessed and grateful that she is helping me raise my son! I just wanted to reach out on here and give her a shoutout because she deserves it and I know this will help another mom in need! 1000000% recommend Ms. Latoya! ☀️♥️🫶🏽

OUR MISSION SunShine provides a center based education in a smaller more personable atmosphere. Preparing our little ones for kindergarten, taking the extra care in every area of each child’s development, social-emotional, speech, and academically.

2. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
