Ms. Taya loves children and she aims to support each individual family’s childcare needs! She continues to seek out educational and experimental opportunities to help her best meet the needs of all the children and families she is blessed to meet.
Ms. Taya possesses a strong background in child care and has worked in early childhood education for over a decade. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas at Dallas. Her past career experience includes three (3) years with Head Start of Greater Dallas as a preschool teacher and five and a half (5-1/2) years with Big Kidz Place, a before and after-school child care center where she served as the director.
Additionally, Ms. Taya is a CDA Professional Development Specialist for the CDA Council for Professional Recognition, an organization involved in the credentialing of early childhood educators. She is also a certified vision and hearing screener with the Texas Department of State Health Services, as well as a registered early childhood trainer listed on the Texas Trainer Registry.
