Hi families! My name is Melody and I am the founder of Crunchy Tots Learning Center. I believe that all children deserve access to high quality early education opportunities. Most important to me, is that children have the chance to learn and grow outdoors.

Prior to opening my own program, I used to work at a Lutheran School. I have one daughter of my own that is in the program! I have 10 years of experience working with young children and love my job :)!

Ms Melody is amazing. She had my son for about a year and a half, part time. While he was there he learned so much that my son automatically wanted implemented at home. She has a way with finding the best way to teach, instruct, and encourage each child so that they grow at their pace, and in a way that they feel confident and proud of what they are doing, and want to show it off (thus implementing activities, schedules, concepts at home). We moved an hour and a half away which is the only reason my son doesn’t go there anymore. We are all still missing Ms Melody, and all she offered to our son. October 17, 2017

Ms.Melody has been in both of my kids lives for the last 4 years. She has made such an incredible impact in their lives through this time. She truly cares about the children she works with. She does a great job of setting boundaries with them. They become more independent and have that one on one attention you hope they would get but likely never do at big daycares. Melody has been watching my daughter (and my son when he’s on break from school) for the past year. She allowed me to use cloth diapers with my daughter and potty trained her in just a few days! She learns so much at this school, not just academics, but also social skills as well. August 8, 2017

By implementing hands on activities, our curriculum builds confidence and a concrete understanding of the subject matter. Crunchy Tots Learning Center students’ abilities are dynamically balanced with difficulty level daily to provide exhilarating and fulfilling hands on learning experiences.

Crunchy Tots Learning Center is conveniently located in the Yaupon Ranch neighborhood.

I’ve dedicated my home to providing a caring environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. From dramatic play to hands on sensory activities to outdoor exploration, we foster a fun educational setting.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Crunchy Tots Learning Center unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
