About our program

From Where the Garden Grows, L.L.C. is a family owned and operated child care facility.  Our Home-Based Early Learning and After-School Program was opened in the Park West section of Philadelphia in February 2002.  We serve children aged six months through 12 years of age. Our Before and After School programs service children enrolled in our surrounding schools (Heston, Discovery, Mann, Global Leadership, KIPP, and Inquiry) in our area.

Our program was designed to recognize the important roles that both parents, day care establishments and after school programs play while creating more opportunities and incentives for the children in our community.  Our infants and toddlers share a space, and have full use of the front and back yard.  We are also in walking distance of the Parkside Evan Playground and Recreation Center. The state of Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare licenses our facility From Where the Garden Grows, L.L.C., as well as our facility and staff adheres to all the licensing regulation as required by the State of Pennsylvania.
