I have 6 years of experience in the child care industry and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Early Childhood Development. I have experience working for the Department of Child Safety in Flagstaff, Arizona and many years practicing Trauma Informed Care

I am certified in • Child Care Health & Safety • Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect • First Aid and Pediatric CPR • Infant Safe Sleep & SIDS • Oregon Food Handlers I participate in ongoing training in the areas of child growth and development, healthy and safe environments, developmentally appropriate practices, guidance, family relationships, cultural and individual diversity, and professionalism.

Our mission at Wild Heart Child Care is to provide a nurturing child-centered home focused on fostering children’s creativity in a developmentally appropriate and resource rich play-based environment. This mission is carried out daily by low teacher/child ratios, specialized curriculum, Montessori style practices, and engaging in experiences that promote the development of self-help skills, self-control, and self-confidence.
