Hello! I am Rebecca Ramos, the founder of Tigers Wonderschool. Working in the Medical field for 12 years , I decided to pursue and launch a Preschool program in which all scholars will never be denied due to their ability of learning. I have been licensed since 2015 and have loved the ability to serve my community and do what I think is the most impactful job in the world. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University, and love learning about new ways to support young learners.

At Tigers Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

We believe that in early childhood education, we should bring everything alive - so our curriculum and activities are always connected back to the real world to help learning and development occur.

Tigers Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, spacious single family home near the Rosedale and Laurelton neighborhoods of Queens. Children play outside in our fenced-in yard which is shaded by a large tree and has tons of green space! Our program is located near the LIRR and can be found right off the Belt.

We use the FunShine Express curriculum to plan our days and engage learners. We view ourselves as guides for the children, so we pick topics and follow lesson plans that help kids explore and grow.

Parents are kept in the loop about what we do. We’ll send you home with your children’s projects and use an app to share photos or videos.

This is a Spanish bilingual program. We will support language development in both English and Spanish, so your child’s vocabulary will expand in both!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application here! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
