Hello! I am Tania Duchi, the founder of Tania’s Dream of Love Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 11 years of experience working with young children.

“Education is more than transmitting knowledge.” This is one of our core beliefs at Tania’s Dream of Love Wonderschool. We believe that education is a two-way process– and the educator cannot force knowledge into the children, but rather, we must create environments that are intentional where the children can acquire and internalize what they’re doing, playing with, and creating.

Our atmosphere is filled with respect, love, joy and we engage with children in both English and Spanish. We’re a play-based program which means that children have the opportunity to engage with different learning areas – like art and dramatic play – and that this is how they develop their brains.

Our role as educators is to guide children and allow them to explore within a natural and fun-filled environment. This means that sometimes there are challenging situations– and we, as educators, are responsible for helping children navigate tough situations. We believe that every children can and has the ability to understand how to make choices, and how these decisions will lead to results that they’re looking for.

Tania’s Dream of Love Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, inviting single family home in the Bushwick neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Tania’s Dream of Love Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

We have celebrations for major holidays where we do special crafts with the students. We also do 2-3 field trips per year with the families to various museums in the city.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Tania’s Dream of Love Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event. Tours are available after 5 p.m.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/tania-s-dream-of-love-wonderschool-4229/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
