Nuestros profesores

Hello there! My name is Wendy Rowley and I am the founder of Chrysanthemum Wonderschool. I am dedicated to delivering quality education that addresses the needs of my community in Canarsie, where I raised my children. Recognizing the lack of quality childcare options in my neighborhood, I often traveled to upper Manhattan to access those services. With over 15 years of experience working as an assistant in a group daycare setting, I discovered my passion for early childhood education, which ultimately inspired me to establish my own program.

Filosofía

Here at Chrysanthemum Wonderschool, we think that children learn best through play. We create an environment where each child can feel loved and nurtured. When you provide them with a feeling of love and care, they’ll be confident and feel safe. We ensure that this is a welcoming environment where children can flourish. We will always go above and beyond to meet a child at not only their age but also the stage of development they’re at to be able to take risks and feel confident to try new things.

Ubicación

Our program is located in a single-family home with a yard that allows us to have outside time each day. We are located about half a mile from the L train’s Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy station and are in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn.

We want to make sure that we meet children at every level. No matter what your child’s interests are or what they’re working on, we’ll help them to continue to grow.

This is a play-based program. Our daily routine offers a lot of opportunities for play and exploring, which helps to foster learning.

Our curriculum and materials are set up for children to get a great foundation!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application here! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
