Hello! My name is Deidy Acosta, and I opened Growing Up Together Family Daycare when I had my own child and began to understand the needs of each mother to find a safe place for her children! As a result, I decided to create a place where children will feel loved, a place where I help them grow and learn through my dedication to their development. I received my license in 2017, and have taken classes to ensure I keep learning the newest developments in early education!

Here at Growing Up Together Family Daycare, we believe that giving children a chance to play and explore helps them grow. Children are encouraged to move through our daily routine and make choices for themselves about the types of materials they can engage in. Our circle time is a chance for us to come together, sing songs, and develop language!

Our program is located in a secure apartment building and easily accessible on the first floor! We are located a few blocks from the Kingsbridge Rd. station on the 4 line and are accessible for families who may need care near Fordham University or the James J Peters VA Medical Center. We are walking distance from St. James Park!

Our food is healthy and prepared daily. We make sure that your child is given nourishing food each day. I prepare the food to make sure that it is fresh and meets nutritional guidelines.

This program supports Spanish development. Because this program is primarily in Spanish, it doesn’t matter what language your child speaks at home - they will still develop a comfortable level of language acquisition!

We choose educational and creative activities for group time. During our group activities, your child will enjoy the chance to work on projects that they can bring home or and tell you about. We keep parents informed about what your child does with us during the day!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
